Project report:

Project Sport is a Way of Life in Bulgaria put together more than 30 participants from Czech Republic, Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Hungary and Poland in a lovely mountainous area of the village Berkovitsa. Our initial shyness was quickly overcome after funny introduction games, but especially after the first joint Czech and Polish country evening, during which all participants tried our local cuisine, dances and learnt interesting facts about our countries. But there was much more in these intensive 10 days than just creative workshops and cultural exchange in the evenings. Even though we were expecting to do some real sport, in the end everyone found his or her favourite sport of the day, including football, basketball, volleball, table tennis, hiking or obstacle biking. We even visited local high school and competed with their students! The highscoolers won   most of the games against us 😀

Gossip Hat and Oscar Evening were activities that brought a lot of fun but they also encouraged us to notice what is happening among the other participants. As all projects of this kind, it was mostly about the participants. And here comes the honorable mention of the Czech team, who, with all their cool jokes, made the project unforgettable for me. I am looking forward to meeting you all! Last but not least, thank you EYCB for the flawless organization and support during the whole project!
