Project report:

The project Energy Efficient Baled Straw Ecological House – Turkey was held in Akçay, a small city in the district of Edremit, Balıkesir Province. We spend there 5 amazing days with amazing people and perfect atmosphere.

First day was only „travel day“, but we have also an unforgettable experience, because our luggage was lost at the airport. We didnt know how and where, but luckily they arived a day after.

Sedond day of 3rd project started with games and getting know each other. Than we had constructive introductionary wokrshop about Erasmus+ pogramme and we created our goals, which we wanted to earn at this project. After lunch we had a trip to archeological site and than we visited a local NGO Antandros. We spend a great time there.

Third day we started with personal stories from some participants and than we had a session about evaluation proces of Erasmus+ project. We saw documentation of previous trhree projects and saw what happend from the beginning of this long term project. This day we had also a chance to see a drone in action. We were documented and filmed by drone.

Last day we continued with project and also we had a chance to see a local lifestyle. We went to the local market with traditional bijouterie, carpets, clothes and much more. Afternoon was free, so we were able to explore city on our own. Besides tasting local/Turkish specialities, we also visited mosque and walked along the beach.

To sum it up: we spend a great time in Akçay ad everything was done at the best way.
