Project report:

I have to admit, that these ten days were something, I guess none of Czech team will ever forget. Whole project was settled in small farm area right next to Pyrenees, about one hour from Toulouse. European youth Exchange started 21. Of March with arrival of all teams, little desoriented, but curious what is going to happen in next 10 days. Teams were from Hungary, France, Macedonia, Romania a us team from Czech republic.

Now its right time to thank for all hard work three facilitatos, Maeva Emili and Ophelia which were there for us all the time, their NGO is called Solafrika and they are about to create many more interesting project. We had an opportunity to meet other people from Solafrika and at these time they are creating workshops about moving shelteres, wooden build houses. I am really glad we had opportunity to meet these kind of people. There is no doubt they had impact on all our team, we have a lot to think about.

Program of whole Exchange was quiet busy, we had a breakfast in 8:30 and right ofter that we started actvities all teams together till 18:00-19:00. Which was not only time to practise english, but also look at the topic from different angles, angles of people from other countries with different cultural background.

Main topic of the Exchange was fight against discrimination and social injustice. If I look back it is fascinating how people can work together, think and create new ideas if they have common interests. We have also experienced a lot from South-France culture. Andoll performance or local markets, architecture and local people whith which we had been recording interview about the topic. I have to add that big advatage was that in whole area of farm where project took a hold was not internet connection. Only in small corner next to the office, which was really pleasant for people which where talking with each other and there was no point in checking smartphones all the time. That was really smart move from the facilitators. I am thankfull for that.

I can honestly say that all Czech team is missing people from other teams already, we have build up many relationships and are invited to other countries for visit. We had many workshops and speaches about social injustice and discrimination because of nationality, religion, gender or color of the skin. All czech team is aware about south France culture, food, traditions and some local people.

To sum up? I tis easy we will not forget this beautiful 10 days of exchange ever. Thank you also to EYCB that we all could have been part of this Exchange.
