Program, akce: Evropský sbor solidarity (ESC) — skupinová dobrovolná služba (14 dní)

Před tím, než se přihlásíte na jakýkoliv náš projekt, důkladně si přečtěte všechny informace v sekci Chci vyjet na projekt a seznamte se s Pravidly účasti na zahr. projektech.
Pro to, abyste na tento projekt mohli jet je nutné, abyste vlastnili nejen občanský průkaz (který musíte mít ze zákona), ale také platný cestovní pas (s platností min. ještě 150 dní od datumu začátku vámi vybraného projektu).
V rámci programu Evropský sbor solidarity jsou následující finanční specifika: v rámci všech projektů ESC je kompletně (ze 100 %) zajištěno jídlo, ubytování, aktivity, povinné doplňkové pojištění u pojišťovny Cigna, jazykový kurz, místní doprava, a to vše je zcela pokryto z fondů EU programu Evropský sbor solidarity a zařízeno organizátory. Účastníkům dále budou proplaceny cestovní náklady (v případě tohoto projektu) ve výši max. €180 z místa bydliště do místa konání projektu a zpět.
Účastník musí:
- Být ve věku 18-30 let;
- Být zaregistrovaný na portálu ESC (v případě, že máte s registrací problém, řiďte se tímto návodem)
- Mít zájem o dobrovolnictví a tento projekt;
- Ovládat angličtinu alespoň na úrovni B1

The Old Rabka’s Charm Festival is the local cultural event organized in the little town of Rabka-Zdrój in the polish mountains. Europe4Youth Association is organizing, together with 19 international volunteers, a LARP (Live Action Role Playing) game reminiscing golden era of the town, namely 20. and 30. of XX century within that Festival. The volunteers will: – develop the game together with us, build characters, design plots, – learn more about educational LARP design and its different implementation, – take part in the LARP game as Non Playable and Playable Characters (being dressed up in the costumes form the epoche), – help to prepare local players (polish youth) to play the game and take as much educational outcomes as possible. The Festival aims at: – raising awareness of local cultural heritage and history of the town, – building sense of community and belonging of the local youth to their heritage, – promoting Rabka-Zdrój as leisure and cultural opportunities.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
All volunteers are living together in the Training&Education Centre ReZone in Rabka-Zdrój, where they will be accommodated in 2-4 persons rooms with bathrooms. Bed covers and towels are provided, as well as 3 meals per day (dining room is located in the house). The volunteers have a small kitchen on disposal, a seminar room, a party room and a video/podcast studio in the basement, as well as beautiful garden. Apart from having nice surroundings (mountains, forest), the house has an outside pool.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
During the volunteering period we plan to train you in: – eduLARP design, – game character building, – body&voice empowerment, – self-development through LARP, – NPCs – acting and supporting others, – cultural youth work, – costumes design, – history of Rabka region in XX century, – ethnographic journey in southern Poland 🙂
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
We are looking for nerds. People passionate about history, historical reenactment, ethnology and culture, Live Action Role Playing games, costumes design, acting, playing (at least one of it:-)). With a sense of a storyteller. Volunteers should be 18-30, open for new challenges, willing to learn, open to work in teams, taking initiatives for themselves. Creativity is very welcomed, as well as strong care for other people. The project and our staff are ready for people with very various backgrounds and situations. For EU residents only! Only eligible applicants will be taken into account.
