Project report:

When was the last time you actually let yourself to be BORED?! I feel like anytime I had a minute I used to just get on my phone and do anything else than just being on my own, with my thoughts. BUT did you know that the best and most creative ideas comes when you give yourself time to do nothing? As my Italian friend would say, “DOLCE FAR NIENTE”. You start thinking and then doing things you wouldn’t normally have time to do (because we all need to scroll, right..?), you experience boredom, you explore, you get more curious and interested in all the things you’ve never done before, you start to get ideas..

This is what I’ve experienced during RESET, training course in Plovdiv – Bulgaria, happening from 21st-28th January 2026.
30 participants from 14 different countries came to this project to reset. To start over.
It all started the first evening, we put our phones and digital devices into a box, we locked it and since then, we haven’t see it for the whole week. In that moment, the real FREEDOM started!! The trainers gave us two alarm clocks (to be able to wake up without our phones) and said: “See you tomorrow at 7AM”. I kinda thought it was a joke, we were all a little shocked but we got used to it. I was waking up early every single day for a morning workout and I’ve never felt so energized and full of life in the morning before – a new habit was built YAAY!

We had a lot of free time during the day and we had a free will to decide how are we gonna spend it – we organized a lot of workshops for each other, depending on our hobbies, e.g. self-defense class, walk focused on being present, meditation, Wim Hoff breathing, acro yoga, ice bathing etc.

We’ve also had a lot of activities organized by the trainers, mostly focused on reconnecting with ourselves, with our bodies and on how to express freely through our bodies. We also did our “thresholds”, we got rid of some bad habits and instead of them, we implemented new healthy habits. We have made an action plan with concrete actions we need to take to get to our goals. With that helped a lot our S.O.L.E. (self organized learning environment) groups, that we created at the beginning – people we shared our emotions, struggles but also plenty of happy moments. For me personally, they were the closest people and without their presence and support it wouldn’t be the same. At the end of the project we also choose our buddy – a person that we will stay in touch for the next month working on our action plans and being here for each other. Making sure that we will do what we said that we will do!

The most important thing I have learnt and that I want to remind everyone is TIME. Time is limited for all of us. We don’t know how much time we have left and still, we waste hours a week doing things that are not getting us where we say we wanna be in life? Why? I don’t know. Time is precious and it is the only currency we should be thinking about, wisely! Take a deep breath and CONSCIOUSLY think, where do you want to invest your time? Do you really want to spend it on your phone? Think about it..

Words cannot describe how much experience and wisdom this training gave me. I wish we all could get a chance to disconnect from our digital devices and live our real lives.. connect with real humans and their beautiful souls – I have never felt more connected to others (and myself) than during this digital disconnection.. cuz you know what, maybe mom was right, it was the damn phone!!

I wish you to be as PRESENT and CONNECTED as we were this whole week:))
