Project report:

As part of the Erasmus project I joined, we talked about important topics like offline and online communication, artificial intelligence (AI), and online safety. The project was held in Litpód, Hungary, and teams from different countries took part, including the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Croatia, and Malta. The atmosphere was friendly and open, which helped us have good conversations and make new friends.

One of the best parts of the project was the beautiful nature around us. The weather was warm and sunny, which meant we spent a lot of time outdoors. There wasn’t any Wi-Fi at the place, so we ended up disconnecting from our phones and connecting more with each other and the world around us. It was actually really refreshing to take a break from being online all the time and just enjoy nature, relax, and focus on real-life experiences and friendships.

One of the main things we discussed was communication, both offline and online. We talked about how these two types of communication are different, the good things about each, and the problems that come with them. We also talked about how to be ourselves when communicating online and how to balance real-life contact with virtual communication.

Another big part of the project was about artificial intelligence (AI). We learned how AI affects our daily lives, especially in the way we talk and interact with others. There were talks about how AI can make communication better, but also about the risks and ethical issues related to AI. People from different countries shared their views, which made the discussions more interesting.

A very important part of the project was learning about online safety. We learned how to protect our personal information, how to spot cyber threats, and how to stop cyberbullying and dissinformation. This part was really useful because it gave us tips on how to stay safe online.

On a personal note, the travel experience was fun. My Czech team and I went to Budapest by train, which gave us time to get to know each other and feel like a team. Overall, the project was inspiring and helpful. It gave me new knowledge and also the chance to meet people from different European countries.

I’m really thankful to EYCB for giving me this opportunity!
