Project report:

Our journey to Hrnčiarovce nad Parnou started on the 17th of March, when we gathered in the cozy and welcoming Penzion Na Mlyne to embark on a week-long Erasmus+ project dedicated to exploring AI, media literacy, and digital safety. With participants from eight different countries, the atmosphere was vibrant, filled with curiosity and a shared passion for learning.

Throughout the project, our days were structured with engaging activities. Mornings started with a buffet breakfast, followed by interactive sessions that combined expert-led presentations and participant discussions. These sessions covered a variety of topics, including AI in large language models, generative tools for video and audio, OSINT tools for information verification, digital ethics, and online safety. Group activities encouraged creativity and teamwork, as we designed posters, acted out scenes, and created videos reflecting the themes we explored. Discussions were dynamic, and the exchange of perspectives enriched our understanding of the digital world.

Evenings were reserved for social bonding. Every night, we enjoyed team-building activities, games, singing, and dancing. A highlight of the week was Tuesday’s Culture Night, where each national team showcased their country through presentations, traditional food, and drinks. As the Czech team, we proudly shared our beloved beer, Becherovka, Kofola, Olomouc cheese, and other delicacies, offering a taste of Czech culture to our international friends.

Friday was a particularly special day, as we visited the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, where we attended a lecture on AI in education. Following this, we explored Flek, a local organization providing informal psychological support for young people. In the afternoon, we had some free time, which many of us used to visit Bratislava together. There, we admired the stunning Bratislava Castle, the Slavin monument, and the Blue Church before ending our day with a delicious dinner featuring local beer and traditional halušky.

As the project came to a close, we worked in teams to produce three final videos on key topics discussed during the week. This final task allowed us to apply our newly acquired knowledge in a creative and practical way. Beyond the educational aspect, the project fostered friendships and professional connections across Europe, which I deeply cherish.

Reflecting on this experience, I feel incredibly grateful for the knowledge gained, the inspiring people I met, and the skills I will undoubtedly apply in my future work with youth. Erasmus+ once again proved to be an invaluable platform for learning, cultural exchange, and unforgettable memories.

Děkujeme to everyone who made this project possible!
