Project report:

Welcome to Erasmus+ project “The Rhythm of Unity” in Poland! A place where dance comes alive with joy and creativity. I had the fantastic opportunity to join four fellow dancers from the Czech Republic in Rabka-Zdrój from September 23th to 1st of October. We were joined by enthusiastic participants from France, Spain, Poland and Georgia.

Our biggest mission of this project was to portray important stories and worldwide problems (migration, power abuse, bullying, discrimination, global warming) through movement and inspire change. We crafted captivating choreography that incorporated elements from each culture, showcasing our creativity and teamwork. Beyond our dance sessions, we immersed ourselves in the vibrant culture of Poland. We tasted delicious Polish dishes like pierogi and enjoyed the breathtaking landscapes of Rabka-Zdrój, including its beautiful mountains and parks.

Overall, this project was a remarkable experience. The atmosphere was alive with energy, warmth, and inspiration. It reminded us that, regardless of our backgrounds, dance can bring us together.

As we head back home, we are filled with the lessons learned and the friendships made during this unforgettable journey. We are eager to share what we’ve discovered—whether it’s by teaching others the dance styles we’ve learned or promoting cultural appreciation within our communities. The opportunities are limitless!

I would like to thank EYCB, for this opportunity and to everyone involved in making this experience a reality!
