Project report:

Our week on the Erasmus program was filled with a variety of enriching experiences. Each day offered something new and exciting, some days were filled with indoor and outdoor courses while others were dedicated to exploring the stunning Irish nature.

One of the highlights was our hike in the Comeragh Mountains, where the more adventurous among us braved a swim in the icy lake. We were fortunate to have sunny weather, allowing us to enjoy postcard-perfect views of the Irish landscape.

Another memorable excursion took us to the Copper Coast, a UNESCO- protected area known for its breath-taking coastal scenery. We also had the pleasure of visiting numerous local restaurants, where we sampled traditional Irish cuisine (I heavily recommend their local steaks or Irish stew) and enjoyed live music. Many evenings were spent by a beachside campfire, where we shared stories and bonded under the starlit sky just few steps next to our accommodation.

We were accommodated at a beautiful Irish beach with stunning sea views, accompanied with oyster farm located at the shore of the sea. The serene environment greatly enhanced our overall experience, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation and reflection.

The project-related topics were thoughtfully organized over the course of the week. We delved into subjects such as art therapy, meditation, yoga, positive psychology, self-reflection, stress management, and many more. The primary goal was to achieve mental well-being and improve our emotional resilience.

Thanks to well-planned activities, we succeeded in this endeavour, gaining invaluable insights and forming lasting international friendships. From this course, I mainly take away a positive mindset and unforgettable memories and I am grateful for being able and allowed to take part in this memorable experience.
