Project report:
It was an absolute pleasure to travel with a group of two other Czech participants on October 18th to take part in the Erasmus+ project SE RURAL 2.0, which ran until October 22nd. Our excitement was off the charts as we arrived, eager to learn and grow alongside participants from multiple countries. To be more specific Lithuania, Greece, Netherlands, Slovakia, Poland, Bulgaria and of course Italy.
Under the guidance of our project leaders, Bianca, Giampiero and Luca Ventura, we quickly formed a strong, cohesive team. Through a range of collaborative activities, we got to know each other and built lasting friendships while working on practical solutions for setting up and sustaining rural businesses. We tackled various topics such as funding sources, long-term business planning, and sustainable practices to help future-proof our projects. Working together in groups gave us a great chance to refine our teamwork skills and, of course, boost our English proficiency.
Apart from the training sessions, we were also immersed in the local culture. We enjoyed the local cuisine, explored nearby vilages that gave us a taste of the region’s vibrant spirit.
Reflecting on the experience, SE RURAL 2.0 was more than just a training course—it was a journey of self-discovery and international collaboration. Realizing that our shared challenges in business are similar across borders, we became motivated to pursue solutions together. From brainstorming sessions to hands-on workshops, the skills we gained have equipped us to make our ideas a reality back home.
A big thank you to Erasmus+ , EYCB and everyone who made this unforgettable experience possible. Here’s to the friendships we made, the skills we learned, and the bright futures we’re working toward!
