Project report:

From 11 to 18 June, the Czech team consisting of Míša, Matěj, Anna, Lucie, Honza, and Adam took part in the Erasmus+ project “Strengthening Digital Competences and Inclusive Practices in Youth Work” in Punkaharju, Finland.

Throughout the project, participants engaged in a variety of workshops focused on developing digital literacy and critical thinking skills. We learned how to distinguish between authentic photographs and images generated by artificial intelligence, explored ways to identify fake news, and discussed the importance of verifying information and evaluating sources. Working in international teams, we also created videos on topics related to digital literacy and designed social media posts promoting source verification.

As part of the outdoor activities, we visited the nearby town of Savonlinna, where we combined creativity with humor by creating a series of funny memes inspired by our trip.

Another important part of the programme was the opportunity to experience different cultures. During two intercultural nights, we enjoyed presentations and learned more about the traditions, customs, and everyday life of participants from Germany, Poland, Latvia, North Macedonia, Finland, Sweden, and Turkey.
