Project report:
I would love to share with you our experience from a youth exchange in Romania, Brebu. We have spent 10 amazing days here from 1.9.2024 to 10.9.2024. In total there were 42 participants from 7 countries: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Spain and Greece.
The main topic was centred around green agriculture and sustainability. Among many amazing workshops, we got a chance to visit a local donkey farm and an orchant. We experienced corn harvesting and feeding the donkeys all together. The farmers provided us with important and interesting information about their agricultural practices, we also got to interact with experts and deepen our understanding of sustainable alternatives to conventional methods in agriculture.
Thanks to great organizers, we created an amazing collective full of positive atmosphere and friendship. Everybody had chance to participate in many different workshops, presentations and energizers in a very friendly way. I can say that everybody was easily included because of amazing work of the main facilitator Alex!
Every evening had each country its own national evening, where we had opportunity to present our national customs and traditions in an entertaining way. In addition, we organized during some evening bonfires with music or we danced the national dances from each country. I can say that we were definitely not bored.
All things considered it was amazing 10 days for everybody in peaceful place in the middle of Romanian nature. We met a lot of new friends from many different countries, and we had possibility to learn about their traditions. Besides that, we gained a lot of valuable information about the green agriculture and sustainability.
To sum it up, it was valuable and perfect experience. Thanks, EYCB for this amazing possibility. I can recommend this project to everybody, regardless of how much you know about farming, you will get all the necessary knowledge on project.
Thanks for everything!
