Project report:

In or Out.. This was the name of the project that took place at the end of July in the Dutch town of Ommen, that made us go “all in“ and explore our inner selves in the activities happening ouside in nature. If you like to spend time outdoors doing different activities, and you are also not afraid to go into the unknown and overcome yourself in all different ways, this project will definitely catch your attention. Its aim is to bring people from eight different countries together through shared activities, challenges, and learning about others as well as themselves. Throughout the project we had the opportunity to experience outdoor activities created by both the organizers and ourselves, with all activities always having in common two key words that the organizers kept repeating to us: cooperation and communication. The whole project was therefore about learning to cooperate with the people around us, adapting to different situations, and above all building relationships. All these skills were then put into practice during a three-day challenge at the very end of the project, where the organizers themselves divided us into groups of five and created an experience for us that included rafting, cycling, hiking, or, for example, being in nature without an online connection. These three days were full of uncertainty, exploration, and finding solutions in difficult situations, but thanks to a great group of people and mutual support we all made it through and had a great time. Each of us took away a lot of new skills, experiences, and most importantly, friendships. To sum it up, the project had a packed schedule full of outdoor activities, experiences and joint activities that helped us to put our communication and cooperation skills into practice.
