Project report:

The “Nurturing Earth and Wellbeing” project, part of the Erasmus+ program, took place in Vienna and focused on promoting sustainability and enhancing individual well-being. The initiative brought together participants from different European countries to explore the interconnections between environmental stewardship and personal health.

The project featured activities designed to educate participants on sustainable practices, such as urban gardening, waste reduction, and eco-friendly living. Moreover, it emphasized the importance of mental and physical well-being through activities like mindfulness sessions, outdoor activities, and discussions on healthy lifestyles.

Throughout the project, participants collaborated on developing plans to implement what they learned in their home communities, fostering a ripple effect of sustainability and well-being practices across Europe. The project also aimed to build a network of like-minded individuals committed to making a positive impact on both the environment and personal wellbeing.

Saakr and Maggie, who facilitated the Erasmus Plus project “Nurturing Earth and Wellbeing,” brought warmth and friendliness to the program. Their dedication to fostering a connection between environment and personal well-being was evident.
The international friendships we made during the Erasmus Plus project are something we’ll cherish forever. Meeting people from different countries and backgrounds, we quickly discovered how much we had in common despite our differences. These connections weren’t just about the project; they were about late-night talks, shared laughter, and learning from each other’s unique perspectives. We came as strangers but left as friends.
By the end of the project, participants not only gained valuable knowledge and skills but also contributed to a broader understanding of how nurturing the earth can lead to improved wellbeing, both on an individual and societal level.
