Project report:

Hello! Welcome in Sainte Eulalie en Royans – really small village in France. We had a great stay here focused on puppets. We were three participants from the Czech republic. I think that all participant were excited of project called Puppetryly. It was organized in date 14.-25.10. 2024. I met people from Ireland, Hungary, Belgium, France, Croatia, Poland, Netherlands.

Our Czech group is really appreciated for this trip and for good organization is France. I adore their patience. We are glad, that we learnt new things. We created all 10 days and we really enjoyed that. This Erasmus+ was really acquired. We met really interesting people with similar hobbies and I had various deeptalks with these people and a big fun too.

During the stay we learned how to make, control and play with puppets, we learned what different puppets we can make. We appreciated this artistic focus that brought us back to our childhood and we played with puppets like a kids. Another positive was that we practiced our english a lot. There was really relaxed atmosphere at this event, so no one had to worry about failure.

In addition we visited a home for the elderly, where we could show them a puppet show. We also visited a puppet theater in a nearby larger town as a spectators.

Every cultural evening there was a dinner, which was always prepared by someone from different state. And so every evening the dinner was completly different.

In addition to the prepared program we also enjoyed nature walks and other moments spent together.

But the biggest thanks goes to the organizers Marylou, Mary and Lea. This event motivated us to create more and devote ourselves to art even after ariving in the Czech republic. If these organizers organize something else in the future , we will be happy to participate again. Special admiration also goes to Marylou for leading the reflections, which is certainly not the easiest thing to do.

Thank you EYCB and French Rapugada team for oragnization!
