Project report:
The project “Strengthening of Visual-Spatial Intelligence” offered a beautifully creative and emotionally rich experience. The main focus of the program was to develop our visual thinking through drawing, painting, and experimenting with various artistic techniques. These activities helped us reconnect with our creativity and with our inner child, reminding us that creating art is not childish at all – it is grounding, healing, and deeply meaningful.
Throughout the project, we created an incredibly strong safe space. Everyone felt accepted, supported, and free to express themselves. This atmosphere opened the door to several deep conversations with people I didn’t expect to connect with on such a personal level. I also learned a lot about the social and political situations in different parts of Europe and beyond, thanks to the honest stories and perspectives shared by other participants.
The project’s main goals were to:
- improve visual-spatial intelligence,
- encourage artistic expression,
- support teamwork through creative collaboration,
- and show how visual communication can help us understand ourselves and others.
These goals were fully achieved through hands-on workshops, group challenges, and reflective activities. The organizers were kind, organized, and created a supportive environment from the very first day. The trips, group games, and informal moments also played an important role in building trust and connection.
What I gained from the project:
I rediscovered the importance of creativity as a form of self-care and self-expression. I learned new techniques, strengthened my visual awareness, and understood how creativity can help us reconnect with ourselves, with nature, and with the intuitive parts of our personality. The project also broadened my worldview through meaningful conversations with participants from different countries.
Overall, the project was inspiring, transformative, and beautifully designed. I am grateful for the experience and would definitely recommend future cooperation with the organizers.
