Project report:

I participated in a training course as part of the Erasmus+ project on the topic Tech Tools in Youth Work, which took place in Fredericia, Denmark, from May 13 to May 21, 2025. The course lasted 9 days, including travel days. Participants came from Denmark, the Czech Republic, Poland, Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Turkey.

The project took place at the Trelde Naes camp by the coast, where we were accommodated in small cabins housing 2–4 people. Each cabin had its own bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a double bed, two mattresses, and a sofa. The entire area offered a common room, football and volleyball courts, trampolines, a swimming pool, hot tubs, and, most importantly, access to the sea.

The program began gradually. On the first day, we got to know each other. On the second day, we explored Erasmus+ and the different types of mobility. The third day we began focusing on the topic of technology. The schedule was very comfortable: breakfast started at 8:30, and the program began at 10:00. During the midday block, we had a 30-minute snack break, and the afternoon session started at 2 p.m. We usually finished between 5 and 6 p.m.

The main goal of the first day was to learn each other’s names. We spent the day doing team-building activities focused on getting to know one another, building relationships, and forming a team. We tried to remember everyone’s names, wrote down our first impressions, shared our expectations and wishes for the course, and talked about what made us unique.

The second day focused on Erasmus+. We started with group brainstorming on Erasmus+, training courses, youth exchanges, ESC, and Youthpass. Then we learned about the differences between formal, non-formal, and informal education, and we received more detailed information about the Erasmus+ program.

In the evening, we had a sharing night, where we prepared food and drinks typical of our countries and introduced them to each other. We shared meals, learned about different cultures, listened to songs from our countries, danced national dances, and enjoyed a lovely evening together.

During the following days, we learned how to use Canva, Prezi, Meta Business Suite, and CapCut. After each lecture and demonstration on how to use the tools, we were divided into groups and had the chance to try out tasks ourselves. The organizers walked around, assisted when needed, and made sure we understood everything and weren’t overwhelmed. They also gave us the opportunity to adjust the weekly plan and suggest activities we were interested in.

We started with Canva, where we created business cards, a logo, letter covers, and a presentation for our fictional company and then presented everything to the rest of the group. Then, using Cursor, we built a website for that company and learned how to publish it. Next, we tried creating a presentation in Prezi and later made a short video in CapCut.

We had one free day to do whatever we wanted. Some of us visited Aarhus, the second-largest city in Denmark, others explored Fredericia, and some participants stayed at the camp or took a walk in the surrounding area.

Two evenings were dedicated to group barbecues with delicious food that everyone helped prepare. The weather was beautiful, so we enjoyed sitting outside and singing along with a guitar.

On the last day, we focused on summarizing the entire project, sharing experiences, and final evaluation. We reflected on our final impressions and ceremoniously received our certificates.

The week spent in Denmark was unforgettable. The organizers had prepared the program with great care; it wasn’t too intense and stayed fully on topic. All participants were genuinely interested and actively engaged in the activities. We had a lot of fun and created lasting memories. Thanks to the European Youth Center Břeclav, I had a unique and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in a type of learning experience that gives you much more than school and leaves a lasting impact.
