Project report:
Denmark, a land of islands and natural beauty, full of sincere and hardworking people. I was lucky enough to take part in the InnoBoost project, which took place in Slettestrand, Denmark from November 24 to December 1, 2021. The main goal of this training course was to create contacts with other participants from 12 European countries such as Spain, Romania, Turkey, Northern Macedonia, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Croatia, Italy, Germany, Denmark, and the Czechia.
The course was perfectly prepared from the first day. In the introduction, we were enriched by informative and educational presentations on the functions of the European Union and the projects it funds. We tried to create our own projects, used detailed feedback, and discussed other possibilities of using European funds. Each country also presented its organization and the projects it currently mediates or wants to create in the future. Each presentation also included an invitation to international cooperation on common projects. In a similar vein, the whole week was full of information, creativity, inspiration, and ideas.
In addition to professional lectures, we also had a lot of fun. The daily program included treasure hunts, name games, team-building activities, table football tournaments, swimming in the pool and sauna, hardening in the cold sea, beach walks, international evenings, traditional dance training, marshmallow roasting by the fire and much more.
Throughout this stay, we have been served the best food from local suppliers. I have never experienced such an interesting combination of ingredients and spices and I must evaluate Danish cuisine as excellent and very high quality. All programs were also supplemented with coffee breaks and small snacks, and that caffeine is crucial after such a demanding brain activity!
I think that this project has extremely met my expectations. Not only we all made new friendships, we had a lot of fun and gained unforgettable memories, but above all we gained a lot of new contacts! As was the goal of this project, many participants gained partners for international cooperation. I find this project very useful, we all learned a lot of new practical information, created a lot of ideas and inspired each other, and made our own European projects!
In my opinion this course perfectly reflects the EU’s motivation for these projects, because mutual cooperation, getting to know new cultures and people and, above all, new friendships really make Europe more united and cohesive.
With all this, I would like to thank the EYCB and its staff for making all these experiences possible for us!
