Project report:
On April 10th, our four-member team embarked on a train journey to Budapest, where we gradually assembled with representatives from other countries (Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and our hosts, Hungary). Together, we headed to our final destination – Jánoshalma. During our journey, we kicked off with classic ice-breaking activities, gradually learning interesting facts about people from other countries. Our accommodation was charming – a small guesthouse combined with a farm and ample space for all sporting activities.
Our program was packed from morning till night with sports activities, where we consistently learned something new while thoroughly enjoying ourselves. The weather favored us, allowing us to utilize the entire complex without limitations.
The aim of this project was to provide participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical tools in the field of Education Through Sport. Through a combination of theory and practice, the goal was to equip participants with the skills to utilize sport as an educational tool for developing competences, designing educational sport games, working effectively in teams, and facilitating educational activities.
During our free time, we had the opportunity to enjoy a small swimming pool, whirlpool, and sauna. And since we were on a farm, there was also the chance to try horseback riding. For some, it was a completely new experience, but with an experienced instructor, everyone gave it a try.
Some evenings were dedicated to games like Hide and Seek, a Just Dance party, and, last but not least, barbecue party. On the final day, we all returned to Budapest, successfully concluding this amazing project. We explored the city together, and the next morning, we bid farewell, heading back home with unforgettable memories.
