Project report:

The “Wings of Change” youth exchange took place in Brebu, Romania, and focused on emotional awareness, self-reflection, and building deeper connections between young people from different cultural backgrounds. The project encouraged participants to look into their own feelings and thoughts, understand themselves better, and create supportive and meaningful relationships within the group.

Throughout the programme, we took part in various activities such as icebreakers, energizers, storytelling, meditation sessions, group discussions, and learning workshops. These activities helped us build trust, open up, and communicate honestly. One of the most memorable elements of the project was the secret notes box, where participants wrote kind and heartfelt messages to each other. This small but powerful activity created a warm atmosphere and strengthened the sense of community.

During the exchange, we learned a lot about different cultures, societies, and traditions. Working in an international team allowed us to cooperate effectively and communicate openly, which made the whole experience very enriching. The group dynamic was amazing, and the mix of cultures made every activity more interesting and meaningful.

Personally, I enjoyed the people, the atmosphere, and the overall organization of the project. The most challenging part for me was opening up and speaking publicly about personal feelings, but facing this challenge helped me grow. From this project, I learned that I am important, that it is okay to feel deeply, and that meeting new people can have a truly positive impact on my life.

Overall, “Wings of Change” was a transformative and inspiring experience that helped me connect with others, understand myself better, and return home with new insights and friendships.
