At the beginning of September 2011 six youths from the Czech Republic got the change of visiting Spain for a youth exchange named Encouraging Social Culture in Europe. It was my first experience to travel abroad through the Youth in Action programme (which is supported from the Council of Europe) and coordinated by the European Youth Centre Břeclav.
The youth exchange took place in the village named Villanueva de Algaidas about 80 km from Malaga. Three nationalities participated in the project : domestic, Czechs and Italians. During the week we tasted typical dishes from all 3 countries, got to know the local customs and especially the beautiful landscape full of olives. And most importantly, all of us practiced our English skills. We visited Malaga, where we saw a great entertaining park Tivoli and we swam in the Mediterranean sea. We all found great friends from all over Europe, it was a great experience.
