On Thursday, December 12, 2013 to Sunday, December 15, 2013 I had the opportunity to participate in the project Model of the European Union in Bratislava – MEU Bratislava.
The project began with more relaxed program, which was the opening ceremony in the European House in Bratislava. Then we went to the hotel where we had pleasant task – familiarization dinner , which continued after moving in one of the smaller pubs.
On Friday we had started talking about two of the proposals submitted to Council EU and the European Parliament. Specifically, we discussed the directive on return of illegal immigrants from third countries and the directive on working conditions for temporary workers. These directives formed our program throughout the two days – a Friday and Saturday.
Moreover, the program was accompanied by an intercultural evening, where participants presented country from which arrived to Bratislava on Friday and a big farewell party on Saturday. On Sunday we had sightseeing in Bratislava and then everybody went on journey to home.
