Project report:
Welcome to Poland! Welcome to the world full of happy people, fun, friendship and honesty. It was my pleasure to travel to Poland (Ladek-Zdroj) on the 27th May. We were really excited about the project “Creative Physical Activities as a Tool of Youth Work ” that ended on the 4st June. There were people from countries: the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal and Spain.
Thanks to the perfect preparation and organization of our leaders – Ana, Anastasia and Denis we were able to create a wonderful team without any single mistake! During a lot of activities we got to know each other better and better and thanks to many group works, we were able to cooperate quite easily. We were dealing, for example, with using creative physical and circus activities pedagogy as a method of youth work. It is appealing and fun for everybody, making it ideal as a toll for educational work with youngsters. We trained partner and group acrobatics, juggling, diabolo balloon modeling and we prepared creative physical circus shows for local childrens. And we were leading the creative physical activities pedagogy workshop for them. Presentation of our results allowed us to practice English and move our level a little bit higher!
Moreover, we experienced quite a lot of Polish vital culture – folklore songs, great Polish food, drinks and we had opportunities to explore the local thermal bath.
Considering it all in all, this project had something special in itself. Everything was so calm, pretty and amazing, like somewhere in the dream. What is glorious is the positive, healthy activities encourage cooperation, and strengthen confidence, while developing coordination and persistence. It also helps to improve self-esteem, build on a social capital and direct people towards positive ways of living. Every individual can do something to make the situation better. For all of us this was only the beginning. Now, when we are back home we can try to realize our ideas and be happy if any of them come true. We can start with creating a lot of beautiful things or we can use education as the most powerful weapon to change the world. Everything is up to us!
To sum it up, if there is no EYCB as the great group allowing a lot of people to do amazing things EYCB would have to be invented! Thanks a lot every single person allowing these projects to happen!
