Project report:
In February, 23 participants from eight countries (Sweden, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Italy, Portugal and Netherlands) stayed in Istanbul, Turkey, for couple of unforgetable days to get to know more about a culture, what it is and how can we discover culture via arts.
The first day introduced the programme istelf, we shared our fears, contributions and expectations. In the afternoon, we were taught how our body moves and how we can express our name with the body.
The next days we tried Ebru, typical islamic art, visited the city centre, Grand Bazar, Hagia Sophia, a mosque, a museum of modern art, private technical museum, local school where we played with children.
Also we crossed the Bosporus Bridge, the border of Europe and Asia, several times because we were accommodated in the Asian part.
It was really amazing. I am grateful that the organizers and EYCB enabled me to participate in this great project.
