Project report:

Have you ever been to Spain? If not, you really need to – you’re missing out! Visiting Spain was my long time dream, so I’m really happy, that I had a chance to travel for a training course to Mollina (Andalucia). With me also travelled 2 amazing young teammates from Czechia, Mateuzs and Viktorie. The project was named Women Enterpreneurship Escape Room Generator from 21 November to 27 November. There were also people from 7 other countries, 3 from Bulgaria, 3 from Italy, 3 from Poland, 3 from portugal, 2 from Romania, 2 from Sebia, 1 from Spain and 2 from Turkey.

We had also amazing leaders – Juanje from Spain and Magdalena from Croatia. Main aim of this project was to learn how to use gamification tools to empower women enterpreneurial thinking. The main gamification tool used on this project were educational escape rooms. In the beginning we tried to play one escape room created by our leaders. This experience showed us how can escape room looks like and which tools can be used. And then we started with creating one educational escape room in international teams. Creating our escape rooms took us a lot of time, but we had great support from our leaders and other volunteers. In the end of the project we tried to play other’s teams escape rooms and evaluated the process.

The great group and attitude of our leaders helped us to fully enjoy the project. I really admire the slow start of the project with a lot of ice-breakers. We had also chance to experience other cultures, not only on intercultural night. This project helped me a lot from a youth worker perspective. I learned how to use gamification tools and modern technologies in my every day work.

Moreover, we had also the chance to experience spanish culture and history. We visited a cultural event in Cordoba, explored spanish tapas and drinks. We had also opportunity to learn how to dance spanish Flamenco. I would also underline great day trip to Cordoba, where we also visited centers working with youth people in Andalucia.

Finally I would like to say big Thank you to EYCB Team. Thanks to them we were able to travel safely and easily to this amazing project. They helped us with documents and travel informations. I’m really glad, that I had a opportunity to také part in in this amazing project. Thank a lot every single person allowing these projects to happen!
