Project report:
Transition communities : alternatives for a sustainable city life
The project took place from 27/05/2013 to 02/06/2013 in Valeri, Asturias, Spain. The training course was organised by Asociación Biodiversa in cooperation with 9 NGOs from other countries. Altogether, 34 people from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Georgia, Moldova,Poland, Spain and Ukraine took part in the project.
We spent 6 amazing days in beautiful nature of Asturias ( North Spain ). Accomodation was comfortable in a big chalet, far away from civilization. Probably, that gave the biggest charm to this eco-friendly project.
First of all we learned, what enviromentally friendly lifestyle is and how easy it is. We learned basic ecological phrases, created many projects about nature, visited amazing eco-farm in Asturias, all the time we were eating only organic food and at the end of the course we created 6 projects, which we would like to realise in future.
Personally, this experience affected me a lot, showed me another way of living.. I met there amazing people and I hope, it wasn’t the last time I saw them.
