Project report:

On March 20th, group of Czech young people met at the Buchurest airport. From the first greetings we knew, we will be friends and great adventure is before us. We were so excited about the project with the catchy title “LIKE THIS, LIKE THIS, LIKE THIS” and let me tell you, the reality was even better than we imagined!

This Erasmus+ Youth Exchange brought together young people from all corners of Europe—from Spain and Italy to Greece, Turkey, North Macedonia, Latvia, and of course, our team from the Czechia.

Thanks to the perfect organization by our hosts, Tolea and Iasmina, we jumped straight into ice-breaking and socialization games that turned us into a real team in no time. The program was packed with thematic workshops focused on volunteering, project visibility, and non formal learning.

Using methods like World Café, simulations, and role plays, we didn’t just talk about our home organizations; we practiced presenting our ideas in English, which pushed our language skills to a much higher level.

The Intercultural Evenings were an unforgettable highlight. This time, we also had a creative twist: we had to promote a country other than our own! For exapmle, the Czech team promoted Spain, while we were promoted by the team from Greece. We had to be original—using theater, dance, or quizzes. And of course, we enjoyed Romanian culture on a special night. During our reflection time, we took walks and hiked through the village, enjoying the peace of the Romanian countryside.

To sum it up, this project had something special in itself. Cooperating with so many nations showed us that even though we come from different backgrounds, our goals for volunteering are the same.

We headed home on March 30th with our heads full of ideas. A huge thank you to EYCB, Tolea, Iasmina and everyone who makes these amazing things happen. If Erasmus+ didn’t exist,we wouldnt have lifetime memories and so many new friends.
