The Training course, Youth Development through Emotional Intelligence took place from the 9.-16. of June 2023 in a beautiful Bulgarian village called Emen, located near a smaller city- Veliko Tarnovo.
Our team was assembler from people, that came from lots of different countries, all together there was 26 of us coming from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Poland, Turkey and Ireland, so we got to experience a large variety of different cultures.
A big thank you to our leaders- Kat and Mauro, who did a great job by, not just preparing all the fun activities from start to finish, but creating a very friendly and open enviroment, where we could discuss about different , not always easy, topics involving emotional intelligence.
At this training course i learnt a variety of things, definitely a lot of new information about emotions, how to solve conflicts properly, stress management, how to give constructive feedback and loads of other activities, that will definitely benefit me in the future. But apart from all of that, I learnt that you can make strong bonds with different people at any age, and it was really nice to get a glipse of different traditions and habits, that other people have in their countries.
Also, the location of the training course, Emen, a place that not even many Bulgarians know about is a very magical place with beatiful rock formations, caves and waterfalls, we had a great time exploring the surroundings in just about most of our free time.
I am very grateful to CVS Bulgaria, EYCB and Jana Parolková for giving me the possibility to experience this lovely time, gorgeous place and a great load of usefull information.
