Project report:

The NFE – opportunity for inclusion and acceptance of immigrants and asylum seekers took place in the pleasant Italian town of Ferrara from 21.10. until 29 October 2017, attended by representatives from a total of 9 countries, 2 girls from Czech republic were presented. During the eight fully busy days, we were able to get a lot of information from the areas of non-formal education, migration and refugee, human rights. There was also room to exchange experience among other participants about the course of “migration crisis” and reflection in the company concerned. The program was also full of games and entertainment, there was space to participate in TED Talks, where everyone presented the area that interests him. Despite the busy schedule, we were able to use the free afternoon and spend time from one of the surrounding towns, part of Bologna, part of Padova. A great unknown for us were the stories of asylum seekers who lived in the same hotel and did not have a problem sharing their story with us. We also had the opportunity to apply non-formal education methods to the residents of the hotel.

It also included an intercultural evening where the delegates brought the best of their homes and we could all taste the good coming from them.

Thanks to EYCB and the organizers from the Fertiló project, we were able to draw a lot of insights from the field of NFE, Migration and Refugees, Cultural Diversity, Thank you to all who took part in this event.
