Project report:

At the beginning of June 2023, I participated in the PBA in Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Germany, near Bremen. It was a “partnership building activity”, a meeting of youth workers organizing Erasmus+ projects. The project involved about 25 people from the Czech Republic, Italy, Turkey, Estonia, Spain, Germany, France, Hungary and Romania. A maximum of 2-3 representatives came from each country to the project, which encouraged the mixing of nationalities, so there were no national groups.

During the workshops, we had the opportunity to get acquainted with the rules of organization of Erasmus+ projects, i.e. submitting financial applications, organizing the whole event, searching for participants or partners. And the search for partner NGOs was the main point of this activity. As part of the workshops and free time between “seassions”, we had the opportunity to present our non-profit organizations, get to know the others and connect.

In addition to the usual workshops with group and individual creation and presentation of posters, we also had non-traditional ones: during the “happy hour” we were drinking the German Bionade by networking and planning new projects, during the “Youthpass party” we thought together in a creative way, through games, theater, songs or recitation, what Youthpass is about and how to bring it closer to young people.

The project took place in a beautiful area near Bremen. In our free time, we went to the forest, discussed in the garden, rode a bike and greeted the neighbors with a North German “moin”. We also played darts, table tennis, the town of Palermo and enjoyed the international “professional holiday feeling”.
