Something about the project: It is composed as a long-term EVS, the association Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. is the hosting organisation. its main aim is to design, organize, implement and monitor international projects in the field of culture and art. Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. promotes cultural exchange whilst also fostering young people’s and adults’ soft and professional skills using non-formal learning methods. The association provides opportunities to people over 18 years old to participate in international training courses, seminars, youth exchanges, conferences, volunteer work and cultural events in Dresden and abroad. The association has partners all over Europe and emphasizes the EU’s history, politics and society with the aim to raise EU awareness and promote EU citizenship.
Proposed activities for the volunteers: The volunteer will work in the field of cultural management, project- and event management, association administration and support in fundraising, public relations, (web) communication, supervision of social networks and works which are required in an office on a daily basis as cleaning in the office, take care for association belongings. Organising an effective communication between sending and hosting organisation. Help at developing and expanding the network of the association. Searching for new potential partners. Help at translation and documentation of projects from the hosting organisation.
