Project report:

It was a pleasure to travel to Poland with 3 other Czechs. The project: Democracy through
the Photo Lens took place in Rabka-Zdrój (5.8. – 13.8. 2024). 5 countries participated in the project: the Czech Republic, Romania, Denmark, Hungary and Poland.

The good mood was created by our best organizers Lana and Leandro, who made this
project very special and we were never bored. We played a lot of games, where we got to
know each other, laughed, sang and danced. There were also evening parties or walks
around the city. We learned a lot from other countries and also learned useful information
about photography and editing. We danced traditional dances and tasted food from other countries. We also discussed democracy, and we learned how we can be an active citizen.

We also went to the town of Rabka-Zdroj to photograph. On Friday we visited Krakow,
where we also photographed beautiful monuments, places and people in groups. On Sunday in Rabka, we organized our own exhibition of our photos and we showed people what we created together.

To sum it up, we really enjoyed the whole project. I found a lot of new friends and inspiring people here. I would say that this project was very special and remarkable, a lot of talented and nice people gathered here in a beautiful place with good food. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and I already miss it so much.
