Poject report:

From 15th to 22nd June, I had the opportunity to participate in an Erasmus+ youth exchange project called ARTivism in Berlin, Germany, together with four other participants from the Czech Republic. The project focused on the connection between art, activism, and social change, we explored how creative expression can be a powerful tool to influence society and raise awareness about important topics.

During the exchange, we took part in various workshops focused on different forms of art and creativity. We worked with techniques such as creating collages, writing texts and literature, and using artistic methods to express our opinions and ideas about social and political issues. We learned that art is not only a way of self-expression but can also be a strong instrument for communication, creating discussions, and inspiring change in our communities.

One of the highlights of the exchange was the Intercultural Night, where we presented our countries, cultures, traditions, and typical food. It was a great opportunity to connect with people from different countries such as Germany, Norway, Poland and Romania.

Besides the project activities, we also had the chance to explore Berlin. We discovered the city, its history, culture, and unique atmosphere- We even had a luck with a street music festival called Fête de la Musique that took place while being there. We really appreaciated choosing this venue for this topic because Berlin was so rich in places connected to art and it really inspired us all.
