Project report:
This project was focused on environmental protection, sustainable development and exploring the nature and outdoor in Macedonia. I have to say that we have spent great time there. Macedonia is a land of contrasts, firstly you can see really awesome nature, mountains, lakes, beautil cites and unfortunatelly on the others side there is a lot of rubbish in the streets, practically everywhere. It seems that local people, don’t appriciate the beauty of thein country.
We had there some workshops and I think that cleaning of the beach in the camp where we stayed, was one of the most useful activity there. We were also discusing about enviromental problems and possible solutions for these problems. Everyone should start firstly him/herself.
The most favourite activity for all participants was a mountain biking trip accros the lake with little hike to the cave curch. We also spent one afternoon at some of moutain meadow by playing teambuilding games and during that that day, we had a lunch outside in the beutiful nature of Macedonia. We also enjoyed a lot the canoeing on the Ohrid lake or Halloween campfire on the beach.
It was nice to share experience with others and UK participants gave us great opportunity to improve at least little bit our language knowledge. We were glad to be there. Thank you EYCB!!!
