Project report:

Change is something we all experience, yet we rarely stop to reflect on how it shapes us. The Erasmus+ Training Course Guiding Change invited us to do exactly that.

For one week, participants from across Europe ( Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Spain, Italy and Poland) came together in a learning environment built on trust, openness, and curiosity. Through non-formal education methods, we explored different dimensions of change and discovered how understanding ourselves better can help us support others more effectively.

The programme followed a carefully designed journey. We started with curiosity, learning to approach new experiences with openness rather than fear. We then moved into honesty and awareness, challenging ourselves to look beyond our usual perspectives and recognize patterns that influence our decisions and behaviours.

One of the most impactful moments of the training was exploring human needs and understanding how they influence our actions, relationships, and personal growth. Through various interactive exercises, participants learned to identify what truly motivates them and how unmet needs can often be at the root of misunderstandings and conflicts.

As the week progressed, the focus shifted towards growth and empathy. We explored how sustainable change happens and what conditions allow people to develop their full potential. Through dialogue, reflection, and experiential activities, we practiced empathy not only towards others but also towards ourselves.

What made this training particularly special was the atmosphere created by the facilitators and participants. Every activity, discussion, and reflection circle contributed to a sense of community where everyone felt heard and respected.

The training course reminded us that change is not a single moment but an ongoing process. It begins with curiosity, grows through awareness, and becomes sustainable when supported by empathy and understanding.
