Project report:

Hello, it was an honor for me to go on a youth exchange to Romania (Monteoru) with 4 other girls from the Czech Republic on 11.3. 2024. We all bonded on the way there. We were also interested in the project “We are business pioneers for social innovation,” which concluded on 21.3. 2024. We were part of a diverse group that included countries such as Lithuania, Latvia, Spain, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, and the Czech Republic (us).

We thank our leaders Tolea, Iasmina, and Bogdan for their excellent organization, support, and preparation of the project, which made it exactly as it should be. Thanks to the activities we participate in from the beginning, we got to know each other well and formed team from the outset. Subsequently, we delved into the topic itself, exploring the very definitions and real-life applications. In the final days, we worked in smaller groups to invent our own social businesses. This was particularly beneficial as many participants had never undertaken such a task before, and the leaders guided us through to completion. Finally, we presented our projects, and a few representatives had the opportunity to visit the local economics school, where we discussed our projects with the students.

We also had international evenings where we could bring our cultures closer to the other participating countries in the project, and they did the same for us. It was exciting to taste and learn about other cultures. Additionally, one day we had a purely Romanian evening where we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in Romanian culture. To top it all off, we had an event one evening where each country was assigned a different country and had to present it in some way. For example, when we represented Italy, we learned some of their well-known dances.

Finally, I would like to commend the organization EYCB, which provided us with all the essential information before and after the project. We are extremely satisfied, and I speak for our entire Czech team!

We are all extremely grateful for this unforgettable project, from which we gained valuable experience and only good memories.
