Young people need models that will motivate them and encourage their initiatives, build self-confidence, contribute to their employability, and enable them to develop at an intercultural and European level, including the development of key competences.
The specific aim of the project is to increase employability and encourage entrepreneurship by enabling 44 young people from Romania, Czech Republic, Italy, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Lithuania and Turkey to improve themselves in career planning, entrepreneurship, competencies and communication.
- To improve the skills of 37 young people in entrepreneurship, career planning, and communication,
- Encourage entrepreneurship with positive models and encouragement, Increasing employability by developing key competences and social skills,
- To ensure that the participants know themselves and are aware of their competencies,
- To encourage young people to intercultural communication, interaction and respect for differences
- To include participants with limited opportunities.
The activities are based on formal and nonformal education.
The young participants will have the opportunity to experience different non-formal education methods: “group works, treasure hunt, facilitated discussions, questionnaire, goldfish bowl, simulation, role-play, open space, instution visits, photo-animation, living library, photo-voice, computer-based work, interactive presentations, supported discussions, discovery learning, etc.”
Each participant has to apply to project by uploading his/her Europass CV. This CV will be updated during a project.
Participants selection will be based on judging who could benefit most from the project (Related studies, social/economical obstacles, especially being NEET=Not in Education, Employment or Training, interest in career development etc.) This project is a chance to involve fewer opportunities since Erasmus+ Programme aims to promote equality and inclusion.
Group leader’s profile:
Every country will be represented by 1 group leader older than 18 years old and be in charge of 5 participants. The group leader is a youth worker and supposed to have knowledge in youth/career managemeng/NEET/etc. topics and have an experience under youth and Erasmus+.
The group leader monitor and support the preparation process (logistic, cultural etc.) and learning process of the participants, promote the design activities through participants’ profile and needs, promote evaluation sections and feedbacks from participants, ensure to provide all needed documents.
