When we arrived in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, for the first time, we saw people who were about to become our colleagues, coworkers, and, above all, our friends.
It was quite a journey. It started by getting to our hub in Sărata-Monteoru, a very peaceful place. It seemed like a place created specifically for contemplation about serious questions regarding the consequences of human behavior on our planet and our society.
Many of us knew the importance but didn’t realize the complexity and urgency of this topic. Just as quickly as we learned about this topic, our friendships grew, and we became increasingly prepared for the main task of this training course: creating our own entrepreneurship model.
Our entrepreneurship model was an attempt to answer all the urgent questions we encountered on our journey. It was an attempt to create a system that leads not only to a profitable organization but also handles our planet’s resources responsibly and makes society stronger.
In order to achieve this goal, everyone needed to answer those questions by themselves, and then we met and created a working model together. We took this project to a local business high school and presented our ideas to them. We had the chance to get to know some of the students better as we were learning more about the city of Buzău.
One thing became very clear: Our effort will need to be consistent, and we will be able to achieve our goals only if we collaborate with each other, no matter what country we are in.
