Project report:
13.6. 2022, 33 young participants from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, and Poland met in the picturesque village of Salovci Markovci, located almost on the border with Hungary and Austria. We lived in a wonderful villa in the middle of a village of 300 inhabitants, where there was only one shop and otherwise only farms. It was awesome – the people, the food, the program, and the weather were more than expected. We also had a lot of free time, which we took full advantage of trips to the surrounding villages. Our three great organizers – Sara, Maja and Tomaž, took care of a very diverse program, which included both the given topic (for example, we made bags from old t-shirts) and the acquaintance of the single participants with each other, as well as getting to know not only the Slovenian culture, but also the cultures of all countries there.
I would like to thank everyone involved! It was an amazing experience that I will never forget in my life. And if you are hesitating to go to the project, don’t hesitate! There is nothing you can lose, on the contrary, you will gain experience, new friends and, above all, experiences that no one will ever steal from you!
