Youth Exchange Healthy Choices had two parts. First part was in amazing old town Gdaňsk. Me and Helena met ith other group leaders and one participant. We spent amazing three days in history old town, where we talked about our programe in Mikoszewo, explored the city and visited Lesny Zakatiek in Mikoszewo. We tried typical polish cuisine and talked about us a lot. After three days we said goodbye and see you later in June.
Fist of June half of us met in train directly to the Gdaňsk and the other part met at airport. Together we met in Mikoszewo and Youth Exchange Healthy Choices from 1st to 10th June. We lived in an amazing wooden Cottage. And for activities we used common television room, dance room, beach or forest. Our main aims were gain knowledge about typicla mental problems in young people. We found that are stress, suicide, panic atacks, depression and others. We tried to find how to reduce it. We tried a lot of activities for better healthy lifestyle.
For example we had a concert of tibetian bowls, did an yoga, reduce stress and sleep well activities, dramatherapy workshops, intuitive painting etc. But first of all we presented the situation about mental health of our country.
But we had also a lot of fun. Every morning we swam at the beach, collected a garbage in forest, had an amazing trip to Gdaňsk, where we saw old town city and mural art, we saw a seals from the boat and made a mandala. We danced at the beach, played ice breaker´s games, had a bonfire and of course we had international evenings.
This project was one big journey and I have a lots of memories. Thank you for this experience to EYCB to sending me and Thank a lot all of participants, organizators and trainers.
