Project report:
Hi, today we’ll share some information about a recent project : Through a Gender lens : young women in sports that took place on 16-22.5.2024, Vienna
The organization of the whole project went smoothly and without any problems, logistical or otherwise.
We did activities to communicate with others and games to break the ice. Everybody could join in without any problems thanks to the program that was prepared for us.
Each participating country had a presentation on the opening day about their country and the culture associated with it.
We had a lot of free time, which was great because Vienna is big and we really got to do everything we wanted.
During the morning and lunch program we played volleyball, which most of the designers participated in.
Each country had prepared a presentation on a given issue which was then debated
A lot of people were not open to other people, so then it almost always happened that circles of people closed amongst themselves- it was always people from the same country (so they didn’t have to speak English I guess)
During the program we had a lot of discussion about women in sport.
Every country has it differently, of course,
We are all glad to have been part of this project and to get to know a new city, culture, people, stories.
