Project report:

On Tuesday 9th of November our Czech team firstly met in front of the Malaga airport and together we boarded on the bus to the lovely town Puente Genil. On our way we could feel the Spanish countryside thanks to olive trees present everywhere. After our arrival we started with dinner and a tour in the town. Puente Genil is full of beautiful narrow streets and small colourful houses. It is a very Christian town and therefore many churches are present. The very next day our project truly began.

We started with some getting-to-know each other activities slowly continuing with the first game related to migration and our experiences. We connected quite quickly with the people and teamwork went well in our group. We did many activities connected with the topic, so that we could understand more the situation of people in migration. We could feel a bit of their lives in our excursion to the red cross centre in Puente Genil. During our trip to Cordoba, we could see how much different cultures can fuse together in one city.

It was ten beautiful days in a welcoming, warm Spain full of very friendly and open people. We tried many dishes and local drinks, we met with many cultures and made new friends. The project was very nice and it was very hard to go back to the cold autumn in the Czech Republic.
