Project report:

Musical intelligence? So, only those who have musical talent, play at least one musical instrument, have graduated from a conservatory or at least go to choir can apply for this project… Is that right?

According to Gardner, musical intelligence is one of the eight intelligences that everyone has. Each of us can make a sound using our voice or various instruments that we will consider music. And this is the most important thing we were constantly reminded of as participants in this training. So you don’t have to be a descendant of Mozart to enjoy music. Because music doesn’t just come from the environment, it starts within ourselves – the beating of our hearts. It is also the first one we hear in life. Well, actually, even before we are born…

So, in our week together we explored movement, sounds, melody, harmony and their interrelationships through simple exercises.

We learned not only to listen to our heartbeat, but especially to experiment with music and to create and discover harmonies, pitches, rhythms… We took up familiar, but to a large extent unknown to us, instruments and played… We swayed to the rhythm of the music, sang, discovered…

This week, then, was all about connecting back to ourselves. And even more – the desire and skills to pass this message on…

I believe this will give many of us the courage to stand in front of a different “audience” and help them play too…
