Project report:

The second part of the project Navigate Your Inner Compass that took place in Kokkola, Finland, was a great conclusion to the first part of this project. Due to the fact that we all already knew each other, the atmosphere of the whole project was friendly and warm (despite the cold weather outside). We had the pleasure to spend 3 days in the youth centre Villa Elba, which is an excellent place for any kind of project or training course.

The topic of the first day was a reflection of our „good actions“ (resolution-like action that we like to follow during the three months between those two parts). In the second part of that day, we discussed the topic of fear – what does it mean for us and for soceity.

On the next day, we focused on the topic of silence. We talked about the importance of silence, what role does it have in our life and then we had some time for ourselves to spend outside without cellphones. In the evening, we all welcomed the opportunity to warm ourselves up in a Finnish sauna.

The third and last day was there for us to develop future collaboration with other attendees, to provide final reflection on the training course and to learn more about other possibilities with Erasmus+. After the end of the programme, we organised a farewell party, where we could enjoy ourselves for the last moments. The next morning we all left for our homes, enriched by new knowledge about ourselves and society, new friends and hope to make an impact in the future.
