Hello everyone! From July 19 to 28, the Czech Republic team took part in the Erasmus project “Pocketknife for Youth” in Aldeia de São Sebastião in Portugal. We worked with many participants from a total of 6 countries. The Pocketknife project was all about democracy and how young people can be active in such things. We made our own decisions, talked about entrepreneurship in relation to democracy, the European Union and much more. We also did a long-term project in groups. It was about creating an activity for people (for example voting activity, activity for inclusion etc.). We learned a lot about this topic, but also from the beginning we met a lot of new people, friends who showed us every evening something about their country, culture, history in cultural nights. One day we went to the nearby village of Castelo Bom and then went to the river where we canoed. At the end of the project, we recieved a Youthpass and had an amazing last night. Our organizers prepared the boxes and we talked about the new thing we learned during the project but also about us. At the end of the night we said our goodbyes.
