Project report:
Our czech team of four girls from different corners of Czech republic participated on very interesting project focusing on non governmental organisations and coaching. Through this training we should have not only unlock potential of our NGOs, where we work, but also discover our personalities. We have learned about different types of people, which have their special needs, feelings, requests and motivations.
With other participants from Greece, Serbia, Macedonia, Rumunia, Bulgaria and Spain we went with the bus first day from Sofia’s airport to small village Uzana, which is located 300 km from the main city of Bulgaria. Uzana is really small but beautiful village and previous winter sports center. There is only a few hotels but breathtaking nature and views and everything with absolut calm. Hotel staff was very friendly and food was for non-vegetarian and meat lovers a paradise. Mostly really three times a day we had a big portion of meat. For middle Europeaner was it little bit too much after a few days, but there was an option to change it for vegetarian meals. Even Serbian and Macedonian, who love eating meat often, had at the end problems with eating it. But we found it as a very funny experience and we learned something new about Bulgaria.
Programm of our training filled our each day. First days were very intensive, later we went for a trip in the nearest city of Gabrovo, where we had some free time, we visited museum, bought souveniers, etc. Finnaly after four days we had sun in Uzana and we started to spend very lovely time outside with our sessions. Almost each of them we finished with joga exercising or meditaiton. We made also a trip to the nearest peak with very beautiful view on the mountines, villages, cities, fields, forests and everything, what this beautiful area offers.
During culture evening we had a posibility to sample different types of typical meals, drinks and sweats from each participating country. Those evenings are very popular and this one was a real proof of this statement.
Organisers were really very nice, well behaving, reacting positively on our comments and recomendations. We enjoyed our stay in Uzana very much and then most of us spent free time together after the project in Sofia. Jana Fiedlerová
