Why?
The overall aim of the Training Course  Working with Conflict  is to support organisations to help young people to
overcome their conflicts and learn from them.  It will gather 21 youth workers from 17 organisations from 16 countries,
from both Programme and Partner Countries, in Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona) from 5 to 12 November 2011.
The main topics of the training are conflict transformation, peace education and intercultural dialogue.
Participants will learn about the nature of conflicts, its different types, and how to  analyse and transform them. They
will acquire practical knowledge and skills to work with different types of conflict. They will learn and practice useful
methods, which are expected to be  inspiring and creative, based on conflict  transformation techniques, arts,
communication, dialogue and exchange. It will help participants to avoid automatic thoughts and misconceptions and
deconstruct negative prejudices and perceptions of the other.  The training will deal with day to day conflicts from  micro to macro, some case studies.

Partnership. In total we are 17 organisations from 16 countries.
