Project report:
In Braga, Portugal, we participated in an Erasmus+ training course titled “Inside Out: Emotions in the Digital World.” The program brought together teams from five countries – Lithuania, Czechia, Spain, Romania, and Ukraine – to look at how our feelings affect our behavior online and on social media.
Taking inspiration from the film Inside Out, the course focused on identifying our emotions and managing them effectively. Throughout the week, we explored the psychological effects of social media, including strategies for digital detox, the impact of digital footprints, and how to handle issues like cyberbullying and FOMO. The program was built on non-formal learning, featuring a mix of workshops, group presentations, and movement exercises that kept us engaged from morning to evening.
Beyond the educational sessions, the intercultural night and various team-building activities allowed us to connect and share our diverse backgrounds. This cultural exchange was a highlight, proving that while we come from different countries, we face very similar challenges in the digital world.
The final phase of the project involved creating an interactive digital game using the Genially platform. By working in international teams, we not only shared our ideas on healthy digital habits but also improved our technical competencies. We left Braga with a better understanding of our own emotional “control centers” and a practical set of tools to navigate the digital landscape more responsibly. Thank you for this incredible opportunity!
