Project report:

Greetings from the heart of the Polish Tatra mountains! It was an absolute privilege to travel to the lovely village of Murzasichle near Zakopane to participate in the training course “Think Smart AI”. I traveled there as part of the Czech team together with Amálie, who was an amazing teammate throughout the whole journey, and together we represented our country among a truly global group.

The project brought together an incredibly diverse mix of participants from Italy, Turkey, Spain, Greece, Serbia, Poland, and Romania. Our German delegation was particularly international, including colleagues originally from Kazakhstan and Pakistan, which allowed us to discuss technology from many different cultural perspectives. The entire event was perfectly organized by the Romanian NGO NonFormal Dreamers, who created a space where we felt welcome from the very first moment.

The backbone of the project was our incredible training team – Darja and Cosmo. They were simply great! Darja’s expertise in digital tools and Cosmo’s psychological insights into human-technology interaction were the perfect combination.

A huge part of the project was dedicated to social skills and team dynamics. Through many ice-breaking games and team-building activities, we moved from being strangers to becoming a close international family. This cooperation was essential for our final outputs. For instance, we worked in teams to create educational videos and participated in a fascinating “AI vs. Human” game, where we trained our skills in recognizing AI-generated content—a skill that is becoming vital in today’s world.

Besides making wonderful new friends, I am bringing home a lot of practical knowledge. We discovered several new AI programs and tools that I can immediately use in my future work and studies. However, the most profound part for me were the ethical discussions. We spent a lot of time debating the impact of AI on society, privacy, and the future of human creativity, which gave the whole project a much deeper meaning.

To sum it up, “Think Smart AI” was an incredible experience that combined technical innovation with deep human connection. We are returning home not just with a certificate, but with practical skills, a broader perspective on ethics, and memories and friends that will last a lifetime. A huge thank you to EYCB and NonFormal Dreamers for this opportunity. The future is here, and thanks to this project, we know how to face it smartly!
