Project report

Hello everybody!

We have just come back from amazing project called Art is an International Language and would like to share with you a bit of our enthusiasm! Thirty people, 5 nationalities – Czechs, Poles, Romanians, Turks and Bulgarians spent together wonderful week in the heart of Bulgaria – Veliko Tarnovo, former capital and pitoresque historical town.

As the project’s title suggests, the main topic was an art in general which connected many talented people – painters, singers, musicians, dancers, photographers etc. The main goal of the project was to prepare a flashmob which we created by connection of singing and dancing choreography and realized it in a local primary artist school. That was really fun! But we did much more during the project! Lots of team building activities, city hunting when we asked locals to sing a Bulgarian lullaby for us or took crazy so-called artists pictures and of course culture nights. Special thanks to the organizators who where truly professionals, highly experienced, always on time and prepared…and became our great friends!

International exchange projects are very useful, enriching, fighting against stereotypes and connecting nations together. Don’t hesitate and try it too, it might be life changing experience for all of us. You will improve your langure skills by non formal education and make friends around Europe! We hope that we will meet each other one day again, the truly friendship lasts forever! J
